The collection "25 years of the Arbitration Act (1996-2021)", published by Revista dos Tribunals, is organized by the Brazilian jurists Arnoldo Wald and Selma Ferreira Lemes, two stellar figures and pioneers of arbitration in Brazil. The first, Professor Emeritus of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and Honorary President of the Arbitration Committee of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association, witnessed and actively participated in the initial efforts to introduce arbitration in the Brazilian market and became the country's first representative at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce - ICC. The second, his successor in the representation of the Paris-based institution, integrated the Commission Rapporteur of the Arbitration Act and is, without a doubt, one of the most renowned Brazilian arbitrators in activity. The partnership could not be more adequate to the greatness of the project.
